Gesucht werden künstlerische Forschungsvorhaben, die während des Residenzzeitraums in oder mit der Nachbarschaft des Kreuzberger Rathausblocks durchgeführt werden.
Die Ausschreibung richtet sich an Berliner Künstler*innen, die sich in ihren Arbeiten kooperativ, interdisziplinär, experimentell und ortsspezifisch mit dem gelebten städtischen Raum auseinandersetzen.
Angebot: kostenlose Nutzung eines Arbeitsstudios, der Werkstätten und Netzwerke des BAUPALAST + Stipendium (1000€ brutto) + Sachkostenzuschlag (500€ brutto).

Die Auswahl durch die Jury erfolgt in der KW 33. Die Jury setzt sich zusammen aus jeweils einer Person des Vernetzungstreffen Rathausblock (VTR), zwei Personen der BAUPALAST-Initiative, eine Person  aus der Nachbarschaft sowie aus dem Arbeitsfeld Urbane Praxis.

Open Call: BAUPALAST Residency September

We are looking for artistic research projects that will be carried out during the residency period in or with the neighborhood of the Kreuzberg City Hall Block.
The call for proposals is aimed at Berlin-based artists whose work deals with lived urban space in a cooperative, interdisciplinary, experimental and site-specific way.
Offer: free use of a working studio, the workshops and networks of BAUPALAST + stipend (1000€ brutto) + material cost supplement (500€ brutto).

Residency period: 06.09. – 04.10.2021.

Closing date is 08.08.2021

The selection by the jury will take place in week 33. The jury is composed of one person from the Vernetzungstreffen Rathausblock (VTR), two persons of the BAUPALAST initiative, one person from the neighborhood as well as from the working field of Urbane Praxis.
